About the Chef
My name is Polina Antonova. I
am a cook and a food enthusiast born and raised in Moscow, Russia, and
living in San Rafael, California. I enjoy cooking modern Californian
and world fusion
cuisine with a light old world accent, and carrying on the tradition of
Eastern European cooking that my grandma taught me, adapting it to use
the fresh local ingredients that we are all so lucky to
have here.
I love cooking in my own and other people's kitchens, in backyards, on sailboats, over campfires, on charcoal barbecues in our beautiful parks, on the beaches, in the ski cabins, or anywhere I can have a fire going and a gathering of people who appreciate fine food.

I am a member of USPCA, a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy, and I have taken cooking classes and practiced my art at the Culinary Institute of America in Saint Helena, CA, and in various cooking schools and restaurants here in California, in Europe, the Americas and Hawaii. Did I mention my grandma's kitchen back in Russia?
